Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. stale bread sq.
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Measure bread in a cup, pressing firmly.
    Melt margarine in 1-quart baking dish; add bread squares.
    Toss until coated.
    Beat eggs until blended; stir in sugar, salt, nutmeg, vanilla and milk. Slowly pour over bread.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Set dish in pan of hot water.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until firm. Remove from hot water; cool on rack.
