Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 to 3 medium mashed bananas
1/3 c. shortening or butter
2 Tbsp. milk
2 eggs
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

In large mixer bowl, combine 1 cup flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add mashed bananas, shortening or butter and milk.
Beat with electric blender on low speed until blended, then on high speed for 2 minutes.
Add eggs and remaining flour.
Beat until blended.
Stir in nuts.
Pour batter into greased loaf pan. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool thoroughly before cutting.
Makes one loaf; 16 servings.
