Vegetable Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen French green beans or broccoli spears, thawed and drained
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
    1 envelope instant onion soup mix
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. Swiss Gruyere cheese
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Arrange green beans or broccoli in bottom of 2-quart shallow baking dish; set aside.
    In small saucepan, melt butter.
    Blend in flour.
    Gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
    Add cheese, onion mixture and pepper; heat until cheese melts and soup mix is dissolved.
    Pour evenly over vegetables.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs over top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
