Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add yolks, one at a time.
    Add vanilla; beat well.
    Sift sofa and flour together.
    Add flour and sour cream alternately to the butter mix.
    Stiffly beat egg whites and fold into mixture.
    Put into a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until cake shrinks from sides of pan.
    Remove from pan as soon as it can be handled comfortably.
