Lemon Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients together; bring to boiling.
    Stir constantly.
    Boil 2 minutes.
    Stir some mixture into egg; return egg to hot mixture.
    Cook 3 minutes.
    Stir in rind, butter and juice.
    Cool.
    Fills 2 layers.
