Bean Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 purple onion
1 can lima beans
1 can green beans
1 can yellow wax beans
1 can kidney beans
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. cooking oil
2/3 c. vinegar
1 green pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Drain all beans well.
Rinse and drain well again.
Add chopped onion, green pepper, and salt and pepper.
Mix sugar, vinegar and oil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Pour over all the beans, pepper and onions.
Stir to mix well. Refrigerate overnight.
Stir before serving.
