Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Put the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add buttermilk; mix well.
    Roll out on floured surface.
    Cut out biscuits and cook in a greased pan in a 450\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Brush with melted butter on top of cooked biscuits.
