Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. zucchini
    1 1/2 lb. yellow onions
    1 qt. vinegar (cider)
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Scrub zucchini well and slice crosswise (about 1/4-inch thick slices).
    Makes about 4-quarts.
    Slice onions thinly.
    Makes about 1-quart.
