Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 or 9 qt. popped corn
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Boil all ingredients except popcorn and baking soda for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
    Stir in soda very quickly.
    Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and stir.
    Put it in a roaster pan or other large pan in a 250\u00b0 oven for one hour, stirring occasionally.
    After it has cooled, store in a tight container.
