Italian Roast Beef Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless chuck roast
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 c. water
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 large onion
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1/4 lb. Provolone cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 large loaf French bread
Preparation
    Brown roast in oil.
    Add the next 6 ingredients.
    Cover and cook for 1 hour.
    Add sliced onion and mushrooms.
    Cover again and cook 1 hour or until meat is very tender.
    Add water as needed.
