Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. pears
    5 lb. sugar
    2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    juice from 3 lemons
Preparation
    Peel, core and finely chop pears in blender.
    Put pears, sugar and lemon juice in kettle over medium heat.
    Cook until thickens; stir.
    Add pineapple.
    Cook 15 minutes.
    Pour into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
    Adjust cups.
    Process 20 minutes in boiling water.
    Yields 13 (12 ounce) jelly jars.
