Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
    1/2 c. onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 chicken bouillon cubes
    3 c. water
    3 oz. fine noodles
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    3 c. milk
    1/2 lb. American cheese, grated
    white pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook broccoli according to package directions.
    Saute onions in butter.
    Add water and bouillon cubes.
    Bring to boil, add noodles and cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes.
    Stir in broccoli, including liquid, garlic powder and pepper.
    Cook 3 more minutes; add milk and cheese; stir until cheese melts.
    This can be doubled and freezes well.
