Filled Cabbage Leaves - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage
1 lb. ground chop meat
1/2 c. rice
1 onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
2 c. water
1 small can tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. oil or shortening
1 Tbsp. regular flour
1 egg
Preparation

Cook rice in 1 1/2-quarts of water for 15 minutes; drain. Combine with meat and mix well.
Cook cabbage 5 or 10 minutes in large kettle.
In 1 1/2-quart saucepan, put oil, flour and the chopped onion; brown a little.
Fill cabbage leaves.
Add tomato sauce.
Cook under low heat for 30 to 35 minutes.
