Green Peppers With Crab Meat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 green peppers
    2 c. cooked crab meat
    1 c. light cream
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. cooked rice
    paprika
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut tops off peppers; remove seeds. Parboil peppers 5 minutes. Drain. Scald cream; add butter and nutmeg. Mix cornstarch, wine, lemon juice and salt. Add to cream. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Combine with crab meat and rice and spoon into peppers. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake in a greased baking dish in a moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 20 minutes. Serves 6.
