Longjohns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 pt. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. lard
    1 tsp. salt
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Heat milk to boiling point.
    Add sugar, lard and salt to hot milk.
    Let cool to lukewarm; add yeast mix.
    Add flour.
    Cover and let rise; work down; let rise again. Roll, cut and let rise again.
    Deep fry to light golden brown. Drain on paper toweling.
