Yum-Yum Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope gelatin, dissolved in 1 c. cold water
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 can (small) crushed pineapple
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. whipped cream
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix juice of lemon, pineapple (do not drain) and sugar; heat. Pour over gelatin.
    When it begins to set, add whipped cream and grated cheese.
    Let set in refrigerator until it is firm.
    Serve on lettuce leaf.
    Serves 8.
