Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 to 8 c. cabbage
    2 carrots, shredded
    1 small onion, grated
Preparation
    Combine gelatine and water; set aside.
    Cook vinegar and sugar until sugar dissolves; cool.
    Beat in remaining ingredients with hand mixer.
    Will keep a week or so.
