Homemade Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    2 c. boiling water
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt margarine in boiling water.
    Add flour and salt.
    Mix to make a soft dough.
    Mixture will be quite warm.
    Divide into 2 or 3 portions.
    Roll out on lightly floured board to a thickness of 1/4 inch or less.
    Cut into squares.
    Place on cookie sheet and freeze.
    Place in airtight freezer bags.
    Cook in boiling broth. Makes delicious chicken and dumplings.
