Eggplant Italiano - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 large can tomatoes, chopped in blender
    1 small can tomato paste
    dash of garlic powder
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 c. chopped mushrooms
    1 eggplant, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
    1 large carton cottage cheese
    2 eggs
    dash of oregano
    1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Make like you would for spaghetti or lasagna.
    Grease casserole dish.
    Now alternate layers of sauce (blend cottage cheese, eggs and oregano until smooth), eggplant and cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
