Butter Pecan Turtle Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
8 oz. plus 3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine flour, 1 cup brown sugar and 4 ounces butter in mixing bowl.
Mix until sandy.
The dough will not form a ball.
Pat dough firmly into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle pecans over dough.
