Carrots And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. baby carrots
    2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. margarine
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. syrup
    2 small Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of nutmeg
Preparation
    In medium saucepan of boiling water, cook carrots for 8 to 10 minutes; drain.
