Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            3/4 c. Pet evaporated milk
 
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter (do not use margarine)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond
approximately 2 heaping Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
- 
                            Bring milk to boiling point (can be heated in microwave).
 
Add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Let cool in refrigerator.
Add to softened butter and approximately 2 tablespoons of shortening.
Mix at high speed.
If curdling, add more shortening.
Add vanilla and almond.
