Green Bell Pepper Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 green bell peppers
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. fat
    2 medium size tomatoes, chopped
    1 can whole kernel corn
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Halve or quarter green peppers and remove seeds.
    Parboil 5 minutes; drain.
    Brown onion and meat in fat.
    Add tomatoes, corn and seasonings.
    Place peppers around edge of casserole dish. Pour meat mixture in center of pepper ring.
    Bake for 1 hour in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Top with 4 to 5 slices of white bread, cubed and coated with melted butter.
    Brown bread 10 to 15 minutes in a 425\u00b0 oven.
