Gooie Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box fudge or milk chocolate cake mix
1 egg
1 stick margarine, melted
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 box confectioners sugar
2 eggs

Preparation

Mix 1 egg and butter together; add cake mix.
Batter will be stiff.
Butter the bottom of a 9 x 14-inch pan.
Pat mixture in the bottom of the pan.
Mix together cream cheese, confectioners sugar and 2 eggs.
Pour over mixture already in pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
