Ingredients

12 oz. premade angel food cake
4 to 8 Tbsp. white or dark rum (according to taste)
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
salt
2 c. whipping cream, divided
1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
Preparation

Break cake into bite size pieces.
Drizzle with rum and set aside.
Melt chocolate over low heat in a double boiler.
Remove from heat.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each until smooth.
Add vanilla and a dash of salt.
Whip 1 cup whipping cream until stiff and fold into chocolate mixture.
