Stir-Fry Shredded Beef A La Henry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz. beef rump steak, shredded
    2 tsp. oil
    1 Tbsp. sherry
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    6 Tbsp. oil
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. shredded onion
    1 c. shredded green peppers
    ground pepper
Preparation
    Sprinkle beef with 2 teaspoons oil, sherry, cornstarch, baking soda, soy sauce and sugar.
    Set aside for 30 minutes.
    Heat 3 tablespoons oil in pan and add 3/4 teaspoon salt.
    Stir in onion and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add green peppers and fry for 2 minutes. Remove from pan.
    Heat remaining 3 tablespoons oil in same pan. Add beef.
    Stir-fry until color changes.
    Add a pinch of ground pepper and return vegetables to pan.
    Mix well and stir-fry for 1 minute.
