Betty'S Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium cucumbers, sliced
    3 onions, sliced
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook vinegar, water, salt and sugar until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil.
    Pour over cucumbers and chill. Score cucumbers with fork; do not peel.
    Cut onions in rings. Add to cucumbers.
