Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. eggs
    2 qt. sweet milk
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Separate egg yolks and whites.
    Beat whites until light; add to hot milk (not boiling).
    Cook until right thickness.
    Add stiffly beaten egg whites to custard (after being cooled), then add vanilla and pour into glasses and chill.
