Classic Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 nine inch pie shell
    3 tsp. cornstarch
    1 2/3 cups water
    1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    2 tsp. margarine or butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 medium bananas
    Real lemon juice (from concentrate)
    Whipped cream or topping
Preparation
    Dissolve cornstarch in water in heavy saucepan. Stir in milk and egg yolks.
    Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and add margarine and vanilla.
    Cool slightly.
    Slice 2 bananas and dip in lemon juice; drain.
    Arrange on bottom of pastry shell.
    Pour filling over bananas; cover; chill 4 hours or until set.
    Spread top with whipped cream.
    Slice remaining banana and dip in lemon juice; drain; garnish top of pie.
