Baked Key Lime Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
    2/3 c. Key lime juice
    3 egg yolks
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell or 1 (9-inch) graham cracker pie shell
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Combine the sweetened condensed milk and egg yolks in bowl, mixing well.
    Add lime juice a little at a time, stirring well after each addition to mix and blend well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into milk mixture carefully until no egg white shows.
    Pour carefully into pie shell spreading evenly; will be very full.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool and refrigerate.
    Can be served plain or with whipped cream.
    This method takes care of the danger of raw eggs.
    Baking at 300\u00b0 will kill any bacteria.
