Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. melted butter
2 c. unsifted flour, spooned into a cup
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. vanilla (optional)
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sour milk
3 mashed bananas (approximately 1 1/2 c.)
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. mashed pecans or walnuts
Preparation

In medium bowl combine all ingredients except bananas.
Stir until flour is moistened.
Add nuts and bananas and stir thoroughly.
Grease loaf pan and bake 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0 until toothpick or knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on rack.
Keeps very well in refrigerator or freezer.
Best eaten at room temperature with cream cheese or plain.
