Potato Soup With A Texas Flavor - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. cooked cubed potatoes
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
3 Tbsp. butter
4 oz. cooked ham, cubed
1 Tbsp. green chiles, chopped
1/4 tsp. black pepper
dash of cayenne
1 c. chicken broth
1 egg yolk, beaten
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated medium
Preparation

Cook potatoes 15 minutes; drain and set aside.
Saute onions and peppers in butter until soft.
Stir in ham, chiles, pepper and cayenne; cook 1 minute longer.
