Toscana Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tube Italian sausage
    6 c. water
    3 bouillon cubes (chicken)
    2 c. kale, thinly sliced
    4 potatoes
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic
    2 strips bacon
    1/2 c. whipping cream or half and half
Preparation
    Brown sausage and drain. Cook onion and bacon; crumble. Stir in garlic, chicken broth, water and potatoes. Bring to boil; reduce heat to medium and simmer 25 minutes until potatoes are tender. Stir in kale, whipping cream and sausage. Cook 5 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
