Meat And Potato Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut up
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1/8 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    1/8 tsp. dried marjoram, crushed
    salt
    pepper
    2 beaten eggs
    1/2 c. finely crushed saltine crackers (14 crackers)
    1/3 c. tomato sauce
    1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/4 c. catsup
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in salted water until tender; drain, reserving liquid.
    Mash potatoes, adding about 3 tablespoons of the reserved liquid to make a stiff consistency.
    Stir in parsley, thyme and marjoram.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Set potatoes aside.
