Easter Cake(Makes Three 9-Inch Layers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. soft butter
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavor
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut 3 (9-inch) circles of wax paper to fit layer cake pans; grease pans.
    Line bottom of pans with wax paper.
    Then grease and flour paper.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Cream butter; add sugar.
    Cream until light and fluffy.
    Add flavorings.
    Blend well; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Mix in flour mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Divide into pans.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
