Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie crust
    6 oz. pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2 c. pecan pieces
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    sweetened whipped cream
    1/4 c. chocolate chips, melted
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips over bottom of pie crust.
    Top with pecan pieces.
    In small bowl combine brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla; beat well.
    Pour over pecans. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes or until top is deep golden brown; cool.
    Garnish with whipped cream and melted chocolate chips.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Makes 8 servings.
