Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cut into strips
1/2 tsp. salt
2 medium onions, chopped
1 c. beef broth
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced, or 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
2 green peppers, chopped
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
1 c. stewed tomatoes
1 box mushrooms or 1 small can
3 to 4 c. rice
Preparation

Brown meat.
Add onions; stir until golden brown.
Add broth, soy sauce and garlic.
Cover; cook for 10 minutes, or until meat is tender.
Add green peppers.
Re-cover; simmer for 5 minutes. Blend cornstarch and water; stir into meat mixture.
Stir until thickens or boils.
Add tomatoes; heat.
Serve over rice.
