Double Cruncher Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. crushed corn flakes
    1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and baking soda; set aside.
    Combine shortening and sugars.
    Beat until creamy.
    Blend in eggs and vanilla.
    Stir in flour mixture and add other ingredients. Reserve 1/3 dough.
    Shape remaining dough into balls using teaspoon.
    Place on cookie sheet.
    Flatten with glass bottom dipped in flour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Shape remaining dough into balls, using 1/2 amount for each ball as first time.
    Flatten and bake as before.
    Cool on wax paper.
