Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

50 caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 box German chocolate or Swiss chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk in top of double boiler or microwave.
Combine cake mix with remaining milk and melted butter. Spread 1/2 of cake mixture in bottom of 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan and bake 6 to 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Remove from oven.
Spread chips and nuts on cake and cover with melted caramels.
Pour remaining cake mixture over caramels and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until brownies are firm to touch.
Cool and cut into squares.
