Lemon Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large lemon
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 c. slivered almonds
    3 c. sliced leeks
    3 Tbsp. capers, drained
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 red bell pepper
    1 yellow bell pepper
    8 oz. (3.5 c.) bow tie macaroni
Preparation
    Cut bell peppers into strips and saute in lightly oiled skillet.
    Remove and add almonds, stirring over high heat 30 seconds.
    Remove peel from lemon using grater and set aside.
    Cut off white pith; discard.
    Cut lemon into 1/4-inch slices.
    Into hot oiled skillet, add leeks, lemon peel, lemon slices, capers, salt and pepper.
    Stir and toss until vegetables are tender-crisp. Remove from heat and discard lemon slices.
    Stir in almond and bell pepper slices.
    Cover and refrigerate.
    Cook pasta; drain and rinse in cold water.
    Combine with veggies.
