Company Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 whole chicken breasts, split
    salt and pepper
    paprika
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. sweet basil
    1/4 tsp. rosemary
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/2 c. cooking sherry
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Place chicken, skin side up, in a greased shallow baking dish; sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika.
    Melt butter in saucepan. Add remaining ingredients except rice.
    Stir until blended.
    Pour over chicken.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    When ready to serve, remove chicken from baking dish.
    Serve gravy over rice and place chicken breast on mound of rice.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
