Sour Cream Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. white syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 or 2 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. candied cherries
    1 c. pecans
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Boil first 6 ingredients to soft ball stage.
    Cool to lukewarm; add vanilla.
    Beat until candy loses its shiny state, then add cherries, nuts and coconut.
    Mix well.
    Spread in buttered dish; cut into squares.
