Mom'S Modern Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. ground turkey or pork
    1 large egg
    1 large diced onion
    1 small can diced green chiles or diced green bell pepper
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 can diced or stewed tomatoes
    2 c. crushed crackers
    Lawry's seasoned salt
    dash of Worcestershire sauce
    2 strips bacon (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a large pan, except crackers. Knead well to blend flavors. Add crushed crackers, a little at a time, to allow flavors to soak into it. The texture should be firm, not dry. If too moist, add a few more crackers.
    Mold into a Pyrex loaf pan. Lay 2 strips raw bacon on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour until done.
