Hawaiian Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. cream
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. powdered ginger
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugars, cream, butter and ginger.
    Boil to soft ball stage, stirring constantly.
    Cool to lukewarm; add vanilla.
    Beat until creamy.
    Add pineapple and nuts; spread on oiled surface to harden.
