Pork 'N Crescent Pasties(Easy, Fast And Great) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. diced, cooked pork
    3/4 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 oz. can (1 c.) applesauce
    2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    2 (8 oz.) cans Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls
    1 egg, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In large skillet, cook green pepper and onion in margarine until tender.
    Stir in pork, ginger, salt, applesauce and mustard; set aside.
    Separate dough into 8 rectangles.
    Firmly press perforations to seal.
    Spoon about 1/3 cup meat mixture on one end of each rectangle.
    Fold dough in half over filling.
    Press edges to seal.
    Brush each with egg.
