Beef Stew(Lapskaus) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 big potatoes
5 carrots
3 parsnips
1 leek
4 stalks celery with greens
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 1/2 lb. stew meat
1 qt. water
salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Peel and chop everything.
Cook until tender.
May be cooked in a crock-pot.
Serves 8.
