Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter, egg, vanilla and almond extract. Add flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Chill 2 to 3 hours. Roll out dough very thin onto floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes. Do not overbrown. May frost with icing or leave plain.
