Onion Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. sour cream
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 pkg. corn muffin mix, prepared
Preparation

Brown onions in shortening.
Pour muffin batter into greased pie plate; spread onions over top.
Beat sour cream and egg together; pour over all.
Bake according to package directions for corn muffins.
Yield:
6 to 8 servings.
