Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 egg yolks
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix together brown sugar and flour.
    Add egg yolks.
    Put milk in double boiler and heat.
    Pour mixture in milk.
    Add butter the size of an egg and vanilla.
    Cook until thick and pour into pie shell.
    Beat egg whites and 3 tablespoons sugar for meringue.
    Put on top of pie and brown lightly in 375\u00b0 oven.
