Basic Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1 pt. heavy cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 can Carnation evaporated milk
    half and half
Preparation
    Beat eggs well, adding sugar slowly.
    Add next three ingredients, mixing well. Pour into ice cream canister and fill to line with half and half.
    Freeze according to freezer manufacturer's directions.
    Makes 3 quarts.
